  • In addition to tuition and fees, parents are required to perform school volunteer hours. 
  • Tuition payment options include an annual payment in full or monthly payment plans. 
  • All monthly plans will be made through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Through FACTS, tuition payments will be automatically debited from a checking or savings account. 
  • Financial aid is available for families with demonstrated financial need. All applications for financial aid are handled with the utmost confidentiality.

Financial Aid

The Basic Fund
Deadline: March 28, 2025
The Basic Fund is a privately funded organization whose mission is to advance education equity for low-income families by helping offset the cost of tuition at private schools in the Bay Area. The Basic Fund is available to new students enrolling in private school for the first time and current families who have a new sibling joining our school.  Families currently receiving aid from Basic Fund need to reapply each year. 

Archdiocesan Family Grant and Scholarship Information (TADS)
Deadline: April 15, 2025
The Archdiocese of San Francisco grants are awarded to families living within the confines of the Archdiocese (Marin. San Francisco and San Mateo counties), and are awarded on a need basis until funds are exhausted. 
Please note only one TADS application is required per family per academic year.  If you have multiple children attending different schools (Catholic elementary and Catholic high school) you only need to submit one application.

St. Matthew Catholic School Tuition Assistance (FACTS)
Deadline: April 15, 2025
St. Matthew Catholic School is proud to offer our own Tuition Assistance Fund.  FACTS is a third-party service that evaluates financial data and makes recommendations based on calculated need.  This is then reviewed and approved by our Financial Committee.
